And...what now?

The first month of no work was great! I got all the sewing done for the babies room including curtains, pillows, even flowers made out of the material for the wall. I still have quite a bit of material left over. I cleaned up a storm, made meat pies with my mom and sister, even did a little shopping. Now, I don't know how this next month is going to go before the baby comes. Im now trying to come up with things that keep me busy at home so I don't go out and buy things for myself and the baby that we really don't need! I have two more baby showers so I really don't need to buy her anything. :)
Kurtis got his schedule for next month and although he didn't get any two day trips like we had hoped for, he did get 4 day trips Tuesday thru Friday that come back into Salt Lake everyday so it shouldn't be too hard to get home faster if something does happen early. I really doubt anything will happen really with this baby though. If I take after my mom they will have to force this baby to come. With all three of her kids, my mom was at least 2 weeks late. Only time will tell what my body will be like though.
Since I am bored and have nothing else to do I think I'll write about our weekend. It was a great weekend. We went to Salina on Sunday because it was Karren's (Kurtis's mom) 70th birthday. All her kids (except Kenalee, we missed you guys!) surprised her by showing up her house before church on Sunday. She was really surprised! It was great, so we had a good day down there with the fam. Then Sunday night we got a phone call and Kurtis now has an appointment to meet with the Stake President next Sunday. We know they are spliting our ward on Sunday so we are anxiously awaiting what the meeting could bring. I had to laugh a little bit because my husband is such a good person and member of the church that he volunteers himself or both of us for whatever is needed in the ward. He also has been saying a lot recently that he could never be bishop or elders quorom pres., or this or that because he doesn't have enough patience with people. I kept telling him he was asking for it by saying and doing what he was saying and doing! So, we will see what this means. In all seriousness I am so grateful for a wonderful husband who is a worthy priesthood holder and goes above and beyond what he is asked to do in the church. He is such a great example to me!
So, I think thats it for now. If anyone has any suggestions of things to make or do while Im trying to stay busy at a low cost let me know!
